Please join me at the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society's March program meeting. I'll be talking about the Marbled Murrelet and Rare Bird in the heart of murrelet country. The Straits of Juan de Fuca, off the north Olympic Peninsula is reputedly one of the best places to view them in the lower 48 states.
The program is held at the Dungeness River Audubon Center, 2151 W. Hendrickson Rd. in Sequin. The program is free and open to the public. After my presentation, I'll have a short Q&A, then offer copies of the 2013 re-issue of Rare Bird (Mountaineers Books) for sale and signing. I will happily sign copies of the 2005 edition as well!
