It's thanks to the Olympia Mountaineers (specifically their librarian) that Rare Bird was reissued in paperback in August 2013 by Mountaineers Books in Seattle. This program on the marbled murrelet will focus on the challenges biologists face in challenging terrain as they pursue this secretive bird. Book sales and signing to follow the presentation.
